Pellicle Studios – Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement Overview

By engaging with Pellicle Studios, you (“Client”) agree to the terms outlined herein for the production of corporate and/or music video content.

2. Scope of Services

Pellicle Studios will provide video production services including:

  • Concept development (if applicable)
  • Scriptwriting (optional)
  • Shooting & direction
  • Editing and color grading
  • Final delivery in agreed formats (e.g., Full HD, 4K)

All deliverables will be outlined in the project brief and agreed upon before commencement.

3. Booking, Payment & Scheduling

  • A 50% advance payment is required to confirm the booking.
  • The remaining 50% is payable upon completion, before the final delivery.
  • Delay in payment may result in withholding of final files or legal action if unresolved.
  • Rescheduling within 72 hours of shoot date may incur additional charges.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Client must provide necessary materials (e.g., logos, brand guidelines, music tracks with proper licenses).
  • For music videos: Artist must ensure rights to music and lyrics are legally cleared before filming.
  • For corporate videos: All internal approvals and content accuracy are the client’s responsibility.

5. Ownership & Usage Rights

  • Corporate Projects: The client receives a non-transferable license to use the video for their brand promotion and internal/external communications.
  • Music Videos: Artist retains rights to the music; Pellicle Studios retains production credit. Use in public platforms (YouTube, etc.) is permitted.
  • Pellicle Studios reserves the right to use all or part of the video for its own portfolio, showreel, or promotional use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Revisions

  • The client is entitled to 2 free revisions after the first draft.
  • Additional revisions will be charged at ₹XXX per round (to be pre-agreed).
  • Major changes beyond the scope (e.g., re-edit due to new script or feedback delay over 10 days) may be charged as a new project.

7. Project Timelines

  • Typical turnaround: 7–10 working days post shoot.
  • Delay in client feedback beyond 5 working days may shift the delivery timeline.
  • Express delivery (3–4 days) available at additional cost.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

  • If cancelled by client more than 5 days before the shoot: 80% of the advance will be refunded.
  • If cancelled within 5 days: No refund of advance.
  • If Pellicle Studios cancels the project, a full refund will be given.

9. Confidentiality

Pellicle Studios will maintain the confidentiality of all content shared, unless usage is authorized for public portfolio or branding purposes.

10. Liability

  • Pellicle Studios is not liable for any copyright claims related to unlicensed content (music, logos, footage) provided by the client.
  • Any technical failure or damage during a shoot will be resolved either by a re-shoot (if feasible) or partial refund, subject to circumstances.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delays or cancellations due to unforeseen events such as natural disasters, illness, or equipment failure.

12. Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed under the laws of [Your State, India]. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in [Your City].
